Program Naturalisasi Timnas Sepakbola Indonesia Ditinjau dari Etika Kristen
Abstrak
Federasi sepak bola nasional (PSSI) akhir-akhir ini mengambil kebijakan naturalisasi pemain asing, yang dijalankan sebagai langkah strategis untuk memperkuat tim nasional dalam menghadapi keterbatasan kualitas pemain lokal dan rendahnya mutu kompetisi domestik. Kebijakan ini menjadi fenomena yang menimbulkan beragam diskusi, baik dari perspektif politik, sosial, maupun teologis. Melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi pustaka dan wawancara lima tokoh etika Kristen, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa naturalisasi dipandang positif apabila dijalankan dalam bingkai kasih, keadilan, dan dipahami sebagai sarana berkat Allah. Nilai-nilai tersebut menemukan landasan teologis dalam kisah Rut, yang menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan orang asing dapat membawa kontribusi bagi komunitas iman. Dengan demikian, naturalisasi pemain sepak bola bukan hanya isu hukum dan strategi olahraga, tetapi juga memiliki dimensi etis dan teologis yang penting dalam membangun bangsa.
