Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Articles Content: 

  • The contents of the article should reflect the focus and scope of Jurnal Misioner
  • The writing should be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  • The similarity tolerance with other writings is 20%, which will be checked using the Turnitin application.

Writing Format

  • The Author should type the manuscript in MS Word with Arial, size 12 pts,  two spaces, A4 paper ± 20 pages. 
  • The language used is Indonesian.
  • Title. The title is written at the top in a maximum of 12 words in Arial 14 pt, bold, left, and capital.
  • Author(s) Identity. The name of the author(s) and affiliation are below the title in Arial 12pt, bold, left, and the first letter is Capital 
  • Correspondence and Keywords. Email of correspondence and keywords (English and Indonesia, not more than 5) are written in the left side block.
  • Abstract. The abstract, not more than 200 words, write in Arial 10pt, write in Indonesian and English, contain the research problem, purpose, method, and findings.
  • Introduction. The introduction contains a brief explanation of the research problem, theoretical background, related research, practical applications, and the article's purpose.
  • Method. The author should explain the research participants, the data collecting techniques, and the analysis in this Method section.
  • Result. In this section, the author should explain the research findings in narrative, figure, or table. No citation.
  • Discussion. The Author should explain the research result with some previous studies and the related theories.      
  • Conclusion. The conclusion section contains the main result,  theoretical and practical implication, research limitation, and recommendation for the next research.
  • References. References are listing in alphabetical order based on the source are cited in the text follow the Turabian style.

Online Submissions

  • The author must register and login to submit a manuscript online and check current submissions' status.

  • Need a Username/Password? REGISTER
  • After Register or Login, the Author should click on “New Submission” and follow the five-step submission process.
  • After successful submission, the Editor will notify the author about the article's editorial progress.  The author will receive the notification via email or the author's account in the Jurnal Misioner Open Journal System.
