Pengaruh Kesadaran terhadap Partisipasi dalam Kegiatan Persekutuan Oikumene Bukit Mambual Regency Luwuk
Abstract
Active participation in ecumenical activities in the Bukit Mambual Regency Luwuk Ecumenical Fellowship is an important issue because it is a concrete form of the realization of the ecumenical idea itself. This study aims to evaluate the influence of ecumenical awareness on member participation in ecumenical activities. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, this study collected data through a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 39 fellowship members who were used as saturated samples. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and linear regression. The results showed that ecumenical awareness did not significantly influence participation in ecumenical activities. A lthough ecumenical awareness was very high with an average value of 3.92, participation in ecumenical activities only had an average value of 3.50. This means that the level of ecumenical awareness is not directly proportional to the level of participation in ecumenical activities. This conclusion indicates that there are other factors that influence member participation besides ecumenical awareness. Therefore, the development of ecumenical activities requires a more holistic and strategic approach, considering other aspects that can encourage active participation.
