Resistensi terhadap Teguran Profetik dan Dekomposisi Etis Umat Perjanjian

Keadilan Allah terjadi untuk menegakkan bahwa keseimbangan terjadi dalam umat percaya. Terjadinya perkembangan dalam keimaman yang menjadi pemimpin rohani membawa hidup dalam kebenaran Allah. Kemerosotan moral dan pemberontakan yang dilakukan oleh imam juga umat Allah yang terus hidup dalam dosa-dosa mereka. Amos representative Allah untuk menyampaikan nubuatan bagi umat Allah di Israel mengalami pergumulan penolakan yang hebat. Nabi yang dirunut dalam silsilah keluarga menjadi acuan untuk dapat disebut nabi. Amazia yang merasa terancam kehidupan perekonomiannya melawan dengan memutar balikkan fakta dengan menjelekkan nabi Amos di hadapan raja Israel. Allah dapat memakai pribadi yang memiliki latar belakang apa saja untuk menjadi alat-Nya. Begitu besarnya kesalahan bangsa Israel yang berulang dan mengalami keterpurukan diperlukan seorang imam yang memiliki integritas dan komitmen yang teguh. Belas kasih Allah terus dinyatakan walaupun bangsa Israel yang memiliki kekerasan hati untuk sering memberontak. Allah dengan memberikan tugas dan tanggung jawab kepada Amos memperlengkapi kemampuan untuk menyampaikan pesan Tuhan. Kehidupan bangsa Israel dengan sosial ekonomi budaya mempengaruhi perjalanan kehidupan rohaninya. Perjuangan pribadi Amos teruji dengan penyampaian orasinya di hadapan raja dan bangsa Israel yang telah mendengarkan.

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the concept of worship, identify the characteristics of true worshipers, and explain its theological implications for Christian worship practices based on John 4:20–26. The research employs a qualitative approach using a biblical study method through grammatical-historical exegesis of the text. Data were collected through literature review, including primary sources from the biblical text and secondary sources from theological works and relevant scholarly journals. The findings reveal that worship in John 4 undergoes a paradigm shift from a locational to a relational understanding, where worship is no longer determined by geographical place but by a relationship with God. Furthermore, worship possesses an epistemological dimension that emphasizes the necessity of true knowledge of God, as well as a spiritual dimension expressed in worship “in spirit and truth.” The identity of true worshipers is holistic, encompassing relational, epistemological, and spiritual dimensions. The theological implications suggest that Christian worship practices should be reoriented as an authentic expression of relationship with God, grounded in divine truth and leading to transformative living, including within the context of digital worship and the contemporary church.

Keadilan Ekonomi dalam Yakobus 5:1–6

This study addresses the core issue of the principle of economic justice in James 5:1-6, highlighting the socio-economic inequality and the oppression of workers by the wealthy during the early church period. The analytical approach employed is a combination of pragmatic and semantic analysis. Pragmatic analysis examines the socio-economic and historical context underlying the composition of the text as well as the practical implications of its message for contemporary life. Meanwhile, semantic analysis explores the meanings of key original Greek terms, linguistic structures, and rhetorical styles used in the text to gain a profound moral and social understanding. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, integrating linguistic and historical contextual studies to interpret the text comprehensively. The findings indicate that James issues a stern warning to the rich who unjustly hoard wealth, withhold workers’ wages, and live in luxury without regard for the suffering of others. This message is not only socio-historical but also a moral and spiritual call relevant to the modern context, demanding social responsibility and economic justice in daily life. This article is expected to contribute to a deeper and practical understanding of the principle of economic justice in James 5:1-6, encouraging readers to internalize the moral message and implement it for the creation of a just and civilized society

Tinjauan Teologis terhadap Fenomena LGBTIQ di Gereja Kupang

Abstract
The LGBTIQ phenomenon has become a global issue that also impacts church life, including in Kupang City, known for its strong religious and communal socio-cultural character. The presence of LGBTIQ individuals within the church community raises complex theological, pastoral, and ethical challenges, particularly in relation to the Bible's understanding of sexuality, holiness, and human identity. This study aims to examine the LGBTIQ phenomenon in Kupang City churches through a theological-exegetical approach, examining Romans 1:26–27 and 1 Corinthians 6:9–10. The method used is a literature study with biblical, linguistic, and historical analysis of the New Testament texts, along with a contextual socio-religious study in East Nusa Tenggara. The results of the study indicate that Paul places same-sex sexual practices within the broader theological framework of creation, the fall, and worship that deviates from God's will, rather than simply as a modern sexual orientation issue. At the same time, this study confirms that the church's calling does not stop at affirming doctrinal truth, but also demands a pastoral response rooted in Christ's love, repentance, and renewal of life. Thus, the church in Kupang is called to integrate fidelity to biblical authority with an empathetic pastoral approach, without sacrificing the principle of holiness of life according to God's Word.

Penginjilan Kontekstual dalam Konteks Sekularisme dan Posmodernisme

Melakukan kontekstual dalam pemberitaan Injil adalah sebuah keniscayaan. Tidak dapat dipungkiri salah satu keberhasilan dalam pemberitaan Injil karena adanya metode kontekstual. Sekularisme yang memisahkan agama dari ruang publik menjadi tantangan sendiri dalam pemberitaan Injil, termasuk postmodernisme yang meragukan klaim kebenaran Injil yang satu-satunya bisa menyelamatkan manusia berdosa menjadi hal yang tidak mudah disampaikan. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif akan memberikan gambaran pemikiran dan nilai di balik sekularisme dan postmodernisme dengan harapan Praksis Penginjilan akan semakin efektif dan mampu membumikan Injil di kalangan masyarakat sekuler dan postmodern. Dengan demikian Penginjilan kontekstual terhadap kalangan di atas dapat dilakukan dengan cara membangun dialog, menggunakan bahasa narasi, dan memberikan keteladanan hidup.
