Pengaruh Kesadaran terhadap Partisipasi dalam Kegiatan Persekutuan Oikumene Bukit Mambual Regency Luwuk

Active participation in ecumenical activities in the Bukit Mambual Regency Luwuk Ecumenical Fellowship is an important issue because it is a concrete form of the realization of the ecumenical idea itself. This study aims to evaluate the influence of ecumenical awareness on member participation in ecumenical activities. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, this study collected data through a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 39 fellowship members who were used as saturated samples. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and linear regression. The results showed that ecumenical awareness did not significantly influence participation in ecumenical activities. A lthough ecumenical awareness was very high with an average value of 3.92, participation in ecumenical activities only had an average value of 3.50. This means that the level of ecumenical awareness is not directly proportional to the level of participation in ecumenical activities. This conclusion indicates that there are other factors that influence member participation besides ecumenical awareness. Therefore, the development of ecumenical activities requires a more holistic and strategic approach, considering other aspects that can encourage active participation.

This writing addresses the various crises the Toraja people face in educating their children, who are exposed to limitless technological advancements while neglecting local wisdom values that foster moral and character development. This piece aims to analyze how the Toraja people impart cultural and wise local wisdom values. The method used is qualitative, involving literature studies through books and scientific journals, as well as observations (live in). The results indicate that the forms and values of local wisdom among the Toraja are reflected in their lifestyle and behaviors, which are referred to as traditions. The essence of these local wisdom values can strengthen children's morals and character as they come to understand their identity as Toraja people (ma to Rayan) and become more religious (ma to saranian).

Internal conflict is a common challenge in churches, which are composed of individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. This study explores church members’ perceptions of an internal conflict in the Betania Malanggong Congregation, Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi, which resulted in the departure of several members. The research involved adult members active during the conflict, using a quantitative survey approach with 41 purposively selected respondents. Data were gathered through a four-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using frequency analysis via SPSS. Findings show that most respondents acknowledged the recurrence of conflict and viewed it as a key reason behind member departures. However, they did not consider leaving the congregation as a proper solution and believed the conflict remained unresolved. Additionally, there was considerable doubt about the effectiveness of the church leadership’s response. These results underscore the need for improved conflict management and inclusive leadership grounded in reconciliation values to preserve unity and support the congregation’s spiritual growth.

Ibadah bagi Pembentukan Spiritualitas

Pembentukan spiritual bagi mahasiswa program studi teologi adalah hal yang sangat penting, di samping pembentukan akademik dan praktikal. Perhatian yang mendalam pada ibadah sebagai basis pembentukan spiritualitas akan mengantar mahasiswa prodi teologi siap menjadi pelayan gereja. Fakta di lapangan bahwa ibadah belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh mahasiswa sarjana Sekolah Tinggi Filsafat Teologi (STFT) Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, mendeskpripsikan, dan mengonstruksi bagaimana ibadah sebagai basis pembentukan spiritualitas bagi mahasiswa sarjana STFT Jakarta dalam menghayati identitasnya sebagai calon pelayan gereja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat analisis deskriptif, dengan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yakni studi dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa ibadah menjadi basis pembentukan spiritualitas yang hakiki bagi mahasiswa sarjana STFT Jakarta dalam menghayati identitasnya sebagai calon pelayan gereja atau pelayan masyarakat. Terdapat efektifitas, signifikansi, dampak, dan nilai-nilai dari ibadah sebagai pembentukan spiritualitas.

Integritas Pemimpin Pastoral

Artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena yang menunjukkan krisis integritas yang terjadi dalam lingkup kepemimpinan pastoral. Para pemimpin yang diharapkan menjadi teladan, namun karena ketiadaan integritas justru menjadi batu sandungan. Dalam 1 Timotius 2:12-16, Rasul Paulus meminta Timotius untuk menjadi teladan bagi jemaat yang dipimpinnya. Adapun instrumen bagi Timotius untuk menjadi teladan ialah melalui perkataan, tingkah laku, kasih, kesetiaan, dan kesucian. Para pemimpin pastoral harus menjaga integritas, agar dapat menjadi teladan bagi orang-orang yang dipimpin. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode eksegesis untuk menggali makna yang terkandung dalam 1 Timotius 4:12-16, dan juga metode library research yang dilakukan dengan mengkaji data-data dari berbagai literatur yang berkaitan dengan topik integritas. Kemudian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep integritas pemimpin berdasarkan 1 Timotius 2:12-16, serta untuk mengimplementasikan secara teologis dan praktis konsep tersebut dalam kepemimpinan pastoral.
